BE PROACTIVE IN FLU PREVENTION

Follow these tips to maintain good health, especially during flu season!

  • wash your hands often with soap and water!
  • cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough: use a tissue, or your sleeve
  • after using a tissue, throw it in the trash
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth: germs spread this way
  • try to avoid contact with sick people
  • stay home if you are sick
  • alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective, if you are not near a proper facility
  • get plenty of rest and sleep
  • eat nutritious meals and snacks
  • do not share your water bottles, food and other drinks with others
  • keep anti-bacterial wipes and travel size hand cleaners with you for on-the-go use
  • wipe/clean your phones, (desk and cell), with anti-bacterial wipes
  • wipe/clean your computer key board with anti-bacterial wipes
  • get a flu shot!
